The premise behind this routine is in keeping with my usual philosophy that the magician should not be in control of magic as I believe magic is much bigger than he is and he must simply be a conduit bringing spectators together with himself into a realm of mutual exploration. If you will, the practitioner assumes the role of scientist whose seeming empirical research affects him and those around him in a truly experimental phenomenological vein. Please do not misunderstand at this juncture, magic like life has its own inherent internal logic and this is not stupidity for stupidities sake, rather it is an exploration into the dimensions of that strange internal logic which is ubiquitous to its own intelligence.

For those of you who are weary at the incredulity and sheer unpredictability of that expensive rip-off item called the Psychic Clipboard 1, 2 or 3, either one, the impressions on the digital display are akin to a 5 year old with a bucket of paint attempting to do calligraphy with his fists. My advice is to send it back and get one of Andy Nyman's excellent Pro-folios. And this is a routine with it.

Fiction Fish
I have always loved goldfish magic, it is one of those jaw dropping eye popping jewels that adorns the crown of trick-dom. I received a lot of publicity and work from producing goldfish from post it notes, my 'post it fish' seemed to capture the imagination of many viewers who had seen it on my television series.
